T.N.R. is the most humane, successful and responsible way to manage feral cats in communities.

“Feral cats”?

Feral cats are the same species as our domestic cats; the only difference is that they are not socialized with humans and therefore not adoptable.

Feral cats serve the community by acting as pest control for rats and insects. Hence we must respect and protect them while controlling their population.

How does T.N.R. work?

Feral cats are humanely trapped and taken to a veterinary clinic to be sterilized and ear tipped. Once they recover, they are returned to their original outdoor home (called colony).

Why neuter?

To decrease the overpopulation: there are no more kittens, the population is stabilized To improve their living conditions: friendlier behavior, healthier, less roaming,  prevent suffering and early death.

Essential reasons to spay/neuter your own pet

Live longer – Spaying/ neutering your pet helps increase their lifespan by 1 to 3 years.

Reduce nay stop spraying and marking – Get rid of the bad smell, stop the daily cleaning of walls & floors for good! You provide your Pet with a safe and healthy environment.

Have a safe and friendlier companion – Less fights, accidents, runaways thanks to reduced urges of roaming. Friendlier Pet, as hostile behaviour is greatly reduced as well as yowling.

Reduce nay eliminate cancer risk – Spaying helps prevent uterine infections, ovarian & breast cancers. Neutering helps prevent testicular tumors, hernias & prostate problems.

Save money – Neutering reduces the chances of expensive health problems in the future. Also it is a lot less expensive than caring for kittens.

Prevents the abandonments of unwanted pets. As there are not enough homes available, each year millions of pets end up in shelters or on the streets and die after immense suffering.
